Julian Josephs, FRICS, has been based in Washington DC since 1980. He is an MBA graduate from INSEAD and has also worked in the UK, Belgium and France. He began his career in commercial property in 1973 and has primarily focused on optimizing developments and investments, through his relationships with occupiers. He is a long-time teacher of the Global Real Estate Transactions graduate course at Georgetown University and is currently an elected RICS Governing Council Member. He is a former World President of FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation and advises international investors on maximizing their global property portfolios.
